Rahul Muthumanickam

Rahul Muthumanickam started their work experience as a Legal Intern at S. Ramasubramaniam & Associates in December 2016. Rahul then interned at IDIA (NGO) from June 2017 to July 2017. Afterwards, they served as a Legal Intern at A.R. Sundaresan (Advocate - Madras High Court) from December 2017 to January 2018. Rahul also worked as a Legal Intern at Mr. Vinodh Kanna (Advocate on Record - TANGEDCO Senior Council - Supreme Court of India) in June 2018. In 2020, they joined VirtusaPolaris as a Legal Intern from December 2020 to January 2021. Currently, they are working as a Junior Legal Counsel at bunq, a fintech scale-up, where they are responsible for handling claims and disputes, Kifid complaints, patent and trademarks, DNB regulations, and providing legal support in various cases related to garnishment, insolvency, bankruptcy, and phishing.

Rahul Muthumanickam completed their Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law (B.com LL.B) degree from Tamil Nadu National Law University, where they studied Law and Commerce. Rahul attended this university from 2016 to 2021.

In 2021, Rahul pursued further education and enrolled at Utrecht University, specializing in Public International Law with a focus on Human Rights. Rahul completed their LL.M. degree in this field in 2022.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Rahul obtained certifications to enhance their legal expertise. Rahul completed the "GDPR Compliance: Essential Training" course offered by LinkedIn in December 2022. In July 2021, they also became a member of the Bar Council of India after successfully passing the All India Bar Examination administered by the BCI.
