Matthew Chambers

Matthew Chambers is a Research Economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis since July 2021, specializing in environmental and natural capital accounting with a focus on greenhouse gas emissions and energy physical flows. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Lab Manager and Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University, managing web-based economics experiments and assisting in coursework. Matthew also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Brigham Young University, where advanced game theory and statistics courses were developed and taught. Previous roles include Research Assistant positions across multiple institutions, including developing analytical tools and studying game theory. Matthew's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in Economics & Mathematics from Brigham Young University.
