Nicholas Empey

Nicholas Empey has been with the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Economic Analysis since May 2008, currently serving as Chief, Data and Administrative Systems Branch. In this role, Nicholas oversees multiple organizational units, manages budgets, leads the development of database models, and implements innovative strategies for data visualization and dissemination. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Program Manager in the Industry Directorate at the same organization. With a background in Finance/Economics, Nicholas also has experience as a Sales Manager at S.E. Needham Jewelers.
