Mark Cox

Mark Cox is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing and supporting a wide range of applications. Currently serving as an Extreme Weather Applications Engineer at the Bureau of Meteorology since May 2023, Mark has previously held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at Magentus and Senior Systems Analyst at Australia Post. Mark's expertise spans the design, development, testing, and implementation of both front-end and back-end web applications, alongside proficiency in various programming languages including C, Python, and Java. Mark's career also includes roles in software development for document management systems, mail house processing, and English language instruction in Japan. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Mathematical Sciences from Victoria University.
