Michael Pegios

Michael Pegios is a skilled software developer with a diverse background in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Scientific Software Developer at the Bureau of Meteorology since May 2022, Michael has previously held roles such as Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University, where responsibility included developing a full stack web application that integrates machine learning models for brain atlas analysis. Other experiences range from Frontend Software Engineer and Digital Graduate for the Australian Government to Junior Software Engineer at Companion Systems Pty Ltd, and Web Developer at TWMG. Michael holds a Master's degree in Information Technology specializing in Data Science & Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with Distinction from CQUniversity. Currently, Michael is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Government Informatics from the University of Canberra.
