Rajiv Sabharwal has extensive work experience in business development, specifically in the energy sector. Rajiv started their career at PVS in 2005 as an Assistant General Manager for Power Projects. During this time, they conducted marketing research for power plant equipment and supported studies for multinational clients.

In 2006, Rajiv joined Lloyd's Register Asia as a Sales & Marketing Manager, focusing on developing business in the power sector and securing contracts with major power project developers.

Moving on to GE Power (formerly Alstom Power) in 2007, they took on the role of Business-Sales Manager for Power Systems, responsible for business development in coal and gas-based power plants.

In 2008, Rajiv joined Lloyd's Register as a Sales & Marketing Manager and later became the Business Development Manager for international projects in the Americas and Europe. Rajiv identified and managed international key accounts in the manufacturing sector, developed key account strategies, and enhanced the company's profile within the geography.

In 2015, Rajiv transitioned to Bureau Veritas Group as the Director of Business Development, leading the business in the North American CAPEX project market in the oil and gas sector. Rajiv supported clients in energy transition towards carbon neutrality and helped them quantify and reduce their carbon footprints.

Currently, Rajiv holds the role of Vice President of Business Development for Energy at Bureau Veritas Group, leading the business development team in supporting capital project developers and major energy players in North America. Rajiv assists in ensuring procurement, fabrication, and commissioning quality and helps clients achieve their energy transition goals towards carbon neutrality.

Rajiv Sabharwal studied at San Jacinto College in 2011, where they obtained a degree in NDT (non-destructive testing). Prior to that, they attended Shivaji University for a B.Engg. degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
