Tom Brown

Tom Brown serves as the Senior Vice President at Burford Capital since September 2019, where responsibilities include leading efforts in litigation finance, risk management, and asset recovery. Previously, Tom held the position of Principal Investigative Lawyer at the Serious Fraud Office (UK) from June 2018 to August 2019 and worked at Herbert Smith Freehills from February 2013 to May 2018 as an Associate in Dispute Resolution and as a Trainee Solicitor, which involved rotations in various legal fields. Tom holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Law from the University of Cambridge, completing these degrees between 2008 and 2012.
