From July 2000 to August 2014, Welly Yap held the role of Assistant Development Director and PHD-Delivery Concept Director at Pizza Hut. Welly then joined Orang Tua Group in September 2014 as Chief Development Officer - Retail until September 2016. In October 2016, they became the Chief Development Officer at Burger King Indonesia, a role they held until they joined Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in July 2022 as their Chief Development Officer.
