Brian Bennet Chong

Brian Bennet Chong is currently serving as a Corporate Development Chef at Burger & Lobster Restaurant Group Limited since September 2023. Previously, Brian held the position of Executive Chef at Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel from December 2022 to August 2023. Brian has extensive experience in the culinary field, including roles as Executive Chef at Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the pre-opening of Angsana Teluk Bahang from July 2019 to December 2022, and as Chef & Beverage Manager at Pullman Hotels & Resorts during its pre-opening phase from January 2016 to June 2019. Additional experience includes Executive Chef positions at Nexus Resort Karambunai and Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa, as well as roles ranging from Product Development Manager at Ayamas Food Corp to various chef positions at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts beginning in 2001. Brian also contributed to the academic field as a lecturer at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College from 2007 to 2010. Brian's culinary education was completed at Stamford College between 1994 and 1997.
