Jon Carlson

Jon Carlson has a solid background in the diamond industry, with extensive experience in exploration and project development. JON is currently the Head of Exploration & Project Development at Arctic Canadian Diamond Company Ltd., a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, Jon was a Senior Manager of Exploration at the same company from March 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Arctic Canadian Diamond Company Ltd., Jon worked at Dominion Diamond Corp. as the Manager of Strategic Planning from September 2013 to February 2021. JON was responsible for overseeing the company's strategic planning initiatives.

Jon's earlier experience includes a role as the Head of Resource Planning & Development at BHP Billiton from September 2011 to April 2013. In this position, they were in charge of long-range planning activities for the EKATI Diamond Mine, as well as providing support for capital projects and serving on the Ekati Leadership Team.

Jon Carlson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from West Virginia University from 1975 to 1979. JON went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Economic Geology from Colorado State University from 1979 to 1983.
