Javes Weke

Javes Weke is an experienced operations manager with a focus on sustainable business practices and ecommerce in East Africa. Currently serving as the Field Operations Manager at BURN since November 2022, Javes oversees the production of efficient cookstoves aimed at improving cooking conditions across the continent. Previously, Javes held the position of Head of Mass Market Operations at Kasha Global, Inc., where the emphasis was on women's health products. Additional roles include experience at Ashoka, where Javes contributed to youth entrepreneurship initiatives, and various positions in the transportation sector, including Growth Manager at Little Ride and Operations Manager at Mondo Ride. Javes also possesses a background in technology and design, holding a Bachelor of Technology degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Technical University of Kenya.
