Sonya Fiorini

Sonya Fiorini is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, and community investment. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Investment at Burnbrae Farms since November 2020, Sonya champions the integration of CSR initiatives into corporate strategy. Previous roles include Executive Director of the Burnbrae Foundation and Executive Director of Sustainability and National Facilities at Cineplex, where focus was on promoting sustainability initiatives. At Loblaw Companies Limited, Sonya held the position of Sr. Director of CSR, overseeing strategic alignment and stakeholder communication. Earlier experience includes positions at George Weston Limited as Manager of Environmental Affairs and Executive Director of the Children's Water Institute. Sonya holds a Specialized Honours degree in Environmental Studies from York University, a Certificate in Indigenous Studies from The First Nations University of Canada, and is a Certified CSR Practitioner from the Chartered Management Institute.
