Mugambi Murithi is a professional with diverse experience in research, consultancy, and entrepreneurial ventures. Currently serving as a Research and Advisory Consultant at Busara since May 2023, Mugambi focuses on applying behavioral science to combat global poverty. As the owner of Fresh Farmyards since April 2021, Mugambi is engaged in the growth and sale of button mushrooms in the Kenyan market, addressing high demand through value addition. Previously, Mugambi contributed to the World Bank as a Data Scientist, conducting extensive research on transport intermodal systems in East Africa. Experience as a Research and Policy Analyst at UNCTAD involved preparing a Policy Action Plan for Kenya's transport sector. Early career roles included finance internships at the Kenya Trade Network Agency and Kenya Maritime Authority, as well as volunteer work with the Kenya Red Cross. Mugambi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Applied Economics from Strathmore University and a Postgraduate Degree in Machine Learning and Data Analysis from Simplilearn.
