Roman Chekurov's work experience begins in 2016 at KTV, where they worked as a Web Developer. In this role, they designed and developed the UI for a custom CMS of an online store for electronic components. Roman also developed layouts for multiple e-commerce websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Roman collaborated with a back-end developer and content managers.

In 2018, Roman joined Wrike as a UI Developer. At Wrike, they worked on various internal applications such as tasks, Gantt charts, table view, calendars, and reports. Their responsibilities included designing, developing, and maintaining UI components in the internal Kit library. Roman also focused on making the product accessible for all users.

Roman then moved on to Celonis in 2022, where they held the position of UI Engineer. Roman worked in this role until 2023.

Currently, they are working at Busbud as a UI Engineer, starting in 2023.

Roman Chekurov obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from the Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics in 2017. Roman continued their education at the same institution and completed a Master's degree in Management from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained several certifications related to web accessibility. In November 2020, Roman completed the "Digital Accessibility Course" by Valeria Kurmak through accessibilityunity.com and the "Web Accessibility Testing: Basic Methods and Tools" course offered by Deque Systems, Inc. In October 2022, they acquired certification in "Accessibility for Web Design" from LinkedIn.
