Zoë Allen (She/Her)

Zoë Allen has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Zoë is currently working as a People & Culture Specialist at Busbud since March 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at Deel where they held multiple roles. Zoë was the Regional Manager of HR Experience - Americas, responsible for HR operations across 16+ countries in North and South America. Zoë also served as the Employee Experience Team Lead - NAM, managing the NAM HR Experience team and providing interim management for the LATAM HR Experience team. Additionally, at Deel, Zoë worked as an Employee Experience Specialist, focusing on the Canadian operations and resolving HR-related communications.

Zoë's previous work experience includes being a People and Culture Coordinator at Field Trip Health, where they handled various HR responsibilities including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and managing the people and culture inbox. Zoë also worked at Farm Boy Inc. as an HR Manager, providing support to HR Managers in the Toronto district and serving as the main HR contact for a retail location. Zoë demonstrated strong communication skills and played a crucial role in implementing new policies and ensuring a positive and safe workplace during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Zoë started their career as an HR Intern at Blue Ant Media, where they created service award and corporate social responsibility strategies. Zoë also served as the President of the Humber Human Resources Society (HHRS) during their time at Humber College, organizing events for program members and facilitating networking opportunities with program alumni.
