Ashley Sims

Ashley Sims has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ashley currently works as a Brand and Media Specialist at Busey since October 2022. Prior to that, they were a National Project Manager at Lodgic Everyday from August 2021 to September 2022. From April 2019 to August 2021, they worked as a Special Event Coordinator at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Allerton Park and Retreat Center. Before that, they served as a Special Events and Volunteer Coordinator at the Champaign Park District from May 2017 to April 2019. Ashley also worked at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Oak Street library as a Google Books Project Library Specialist from April 2015 to May 2017. Additionally, they have experience as a Service Professional at Red Lobster from June 2013 to May 2017, a Building Operations Manager at Illini Union from August 2011 to May 2013, and an Administrative Intern at the American Red Cross from November 2009 to February 2010.

Ashley Sims completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology & Spanish from Augustana College, from 2007 to 2011. Ashley then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 2011 to 2013. In June 2023, Ashley obtained the Connected TV Channel Certification from StackAdapt.
