Kayoung Lee has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Policy Assistant at the City of Alameda from April 2018 to February 2020. During their time there, they led a team in drafting the Climate Action Resilience Bill and successfully brokered partnerships with the Department of Transportation to reduce the city's carbon footprint. Kayoung also spearheaded the Last Plastic Straw Movement and achieved a 10% decrease in waste within a year.

Following their role at the City of Alameda, Kayoung worked as a Social Media Ambassador for YesStyle.com from June 2019 to May 2021. Kayoung significantly increased sales and maintained brand loyalty by providing insights and reviews to social media followers.

In 2021, Kayoung joined Business Careers in Entertainment Club (BCEC) as a Project Manager and later became the Director of Media. Kayoung also served as a Media Committee Associate.

In 2022, Kayoung took on multiple marketing roles, including being a Marketing Consultant for Bondit, a Growth Marketing Consultant for Adobe, and a Social Media Ambassador for Victoria's Secret Pink. Kayoung also worked as a Product Marketing Intern at Infinite Objects.

Additionally, Kayoung worked as a Graphic Designer at garb from August 2021 to May 2022.

Overall, Kayoung has gained a wide range of experience in policy, marketing, media, and design roles throughout their career.

Kayoung Lee completed their high school education at Alameda High School from 2016 to 2020, earning their High School Diploma. Kayoung then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2020 to 2024, where they are currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies with an emphasis on Marketing.

The UC Berkeley chapter of the Business Careers in Entertainment Club (BCEC) was established in the Fall of 2008 under the national organization, the Business Careers in Entertainment Association. BCEC was formed with the goal of helping students prepare for careers in the entertainment industry. "Our mission is to provide all undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, regardless of academic degree, with the essential career development mind-set and hands-on experience vital to obtain professional entertainment networking connections, internships, and job opportunities within both the creative and business ends of the entertainment industry."​ We serve students of all majors, providing them with the professional development, experience, and network to successfully pursue a career in entertainment.
