David Lyons

David Lyons is an experienced professional with a strong background in consulting, sales, and business development across various technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Partner in Consulting & Advisory Services at BDC since January 2017, David specializes in providing advisory services to help fast-growing Canadian companies enhance competitiveness. Prior to this role, David worked at IBM from 2012 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing enterprise software sales, particularly within the Canadian federal government sector, and executing complex deal structures. David also founded dTel Network Solutions, focusing on multi-vendor telecommunications and IT equipment, and held significant positions in sales and operations at Starvoy Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent, and Newbridge Networks. David holds a degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management from Algonquin College and is pursuing further education in Business Model Canvas at HEC Montréal.
