Joseph Gorman

Joseph Gorman is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in SIEM and security engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Security Engineer, Detection and Response at Business Wire, Joseph previously worked at CGI as the SIEM Detection Engineering Lead, where effective monitoring and incident detection were prioritized. At Herjavec Group, Joseph led a team of consultants in managing complex SIEM projects and deployed large Splunk environments. Prior roles include Information Security Consultant at TELUS, Datacenter Analyst for the House of Commons of Canada, and Junior IT Security Officer at Industry Canada. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Information Security from the University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
