Lisw-S Michael Ramos

Michael Ramos, LISW-S, serves as the Outpatient Manager and Clinical Social Worker at Butler Behavioral Health Services, Inc. since February 1996. In this role, Michael provides adult individual and family therapy, works with early and late adolescents, and delivers group psychotherapy services utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Poetry Therapy focused on self-expression and personal narratives, and Motivational Interviewing. Michael also supervises social work interns. Prior to this position, Michael worked as an In-Home Therapist at Child Focus, Inc. from June 1990 to October 1995. Michael holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky, earned between 1987 and 1989, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Youngstown State University, completed in 1983.
