Honghao Deng

Honghao Deng is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Butlr since March 2019. Prior to this role, Honghao served as a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab's City Science Group from September 2017 to September 2018, and as a UX Research Scientist for the Airbnb Samara Team in 2017-2018. Additionally, Honghao was a Project Lead at the MIT Media Lab's Changing Places Group from January 2016 to June 2017, where the Amoeba-wall project was managed. Honghao holds a Master's Degree in Computational Design from Harvard University, has been cross-registered and studied Media Arts & Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture at Tianjin University, along with exchange studies in Architecture and Sustainable Design at UNSW.
