Behavioral Health Technician at Butterfly Effects

Larissa Forbes currently serves as a Client Services Associate at Foundation Medicine, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Larissa worked as a Teaching Fellow at KIPP Change Academy and as a Behavioral Health Technician at ABS Kids, where the role focused on providing ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Larissa has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, contributing to a project analyzing neural substrates of racial identity through N400 Event-Related Brain Potentials. Additional experience includes a Business Development Internship at EMTECH and participation in the Product Manager Bootcamp with the Black Product Managers Network. Additionally, Larissa was an Entrepreneurship Fellow at the Black Venture Capital Consortium and owned Chic Central, an e-commerce boutique specializing in jewelry and accessories. Larissa holds a Bachelor's degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and two Associate of Arts degrees from Wilson Community College and Wilson Early College Academy.
