Katie Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katie currently holds the position of Director of Community Relations at Butterfly Pavilion, where they are responsible for managing and implementing the organization's corporate, foundation, and community giving programs. Prior to this, Katie worked at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, starting as a Campaign Development Manager and later being promoted to Senior Manager, Corporate Development. In these roles, they managed fundraising campaigns, secured corporate partnerships, and developed fundraising strategies. Before joining the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Katie worked at the American Cancer Society, where they held various positions including Community Development Manager and Community Events Specialist. During their time there, they organized and managed fundraising walks, recruited volunteers, and coordinated corporate sponsorships. Katie also has experience as an Administrative Assistant at the American Cancer Society and as a Temporary Recruiter for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Additionally, earlier in their career, they owned and operated a convenience store called Loveland Farms Frive-Thru Convenience Store. Katie is also credited with creating the Warehouse 508 Arts Center, a youth-oriented art space in collaboration with the city of Albuquerque.
