Emma Palmer

Emma Palmer is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head of Group Internal Communications at BUUK Infrastructure since April 2022. Prior to this role, Emma spent over two decades at UK Power Networks, where responsibilities included managing Safety Health and Environmental communication strategies, serving as SHE Communications and Engagement Manager, and overseeing the Education and Engagement team as an interim manager. Emma also contributed to the establishment of the public safety campaign 'Be Bright Stay Safe.' Emma's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Buyer at EDF Energy, focusing on procurement for major construction projects. Educational qualifications include membership in the Chartered Institute of Internal Communications and credentials from the CIPS, The Open University Business School, IOSH, and the University of Suffolk in Communication and Media Studies.
