Juan Felipe Godoy Pineda

Juan Felipe Godoy Pineda has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and economics. Juan Felipe started their career as an intern and later worked as an Economic Analyst at Organización Equitel S.A. In 2019, they joined Fiscalia General de la Nación as a Data Scientist, where they implemented data analysis projects and applied statistical models to improve investigation processes. From 2016 to 2021, Juan Felipe worked at Universidad de Los Andes as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, supporting research projects on illegal drug markets, armed conflict, and crime economics. Juan Felipe also had a significant role at the Colombian Truth Commission from 2020 to 2021, where they were responsible for carrying out data-driven projects, coordinating workflow, and implementing statistical models for research projects. Currently, they are working at Buynomics as a Data Scientist in the Solution Engineering team.

Juan Felipe Godoy Pineda has a strong academic background in the field of economics and data science. Juan Felipe obtained their Master of Science in Data Science from the Barcelona School of Economics in 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Economics at the Universidad de Los Andes in 2017. Juan Felipe'sundergraduate education also took place at the Universidad de Los Andes, where they earned a degree in Economics between 2011 and 2016. In addition to their formal education, Juan Felipe has obtained a certification in Applied Data Science with Python from Coursera in October 2020.
