John Agbo, ACA, ACMA, CGMA, BSc (Hons)

John Agbo has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. John is currently working as a Finance Manager at BuyPower since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Accountant/Finance Manager at The Ventures Park from February 2022 to June 2022. John also held the position of a Finance Associate at Ventures Platform Hub from November 2021 to June 2022 and at Ventoven Limited from November 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining these organizations, John Agbo worked at NOIPolls as a Senior Finance and Accounts Officer from April 2019 to November 2021. John also worked as an Accountant at Aquarian Consult from January 2019 to April 2019.

In 2018, John Agbo gained experience as an Audit Assistant/Compliance Officer at Adesanya and Partners (Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners). John Agbo has a comprehensive education history in the field of accounting and finance. John attended Benue State University from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting. In 2018 and 2019, John pursued further qualifications and completed the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) program at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Continuing their professional development, John obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills. In May 2020, they achieved the Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) designation from CIMA. John further expanded their expertise in accounting and finance by earning the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants in April 2021.
