Thomas W.

Thomas W. has a diverse work experience. Thomas started their career as a Sailing Coach at St Thomas Yacht Club in 2011 and worked there until 2016, where they instructed beginner and intermediate sailors aged 5-15.

In 2017, they joined Nantucket Community Sailing as a 420 Race and Development Coach, collaborating closely with the staff to create dynamic pairings and teams. Thomas maintained a 15-boat fleet and was responsible for skill assessment, goal-setting, and program plan creation and execution. Thomas continued in this role until 2019.

In 2020, Thomas worked as a First Mate at World Wide LLC, where they were responsible for vessel upkeep and managed systems such as navigation and power generation. Thomas also worked with a broker to stage and show boats for interested buyers.

In 2021, they joined AllClear Healthcare as an Operations Manager, where they were responsible for operationalizing and optimizing general-public, event, and corporate COVID-19 services and sites. Thomas also played a role in marketing, sales, hiring, and supply chain logistics. Thomas worked in this role until 2021.

From 2021 to 2022, Thomas worked at SmartBear, first as a Sales Development Representative and later as an Account Executive. As an Account Executive, they managed accounts and fostered relationships with clients.

Currently, Thomas is working as an Account Coordinator at BuySellAds, starting in 2022.

Thomas W. completed their high school education at Antilles High School from 2012 to 2016. Thomas then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 2016 to 2020 at Boston College Carroll School of Management. In addition to their formal education, Thomas obtained certifications such as the US Sailing Small Boat Level 2 Sailing Instructor from US Sailing in 2017, the US Sailing Small Boat Level 1 Sailing Instructor in 2014, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Heart Association.
