Fatimah Abdullah

Fatimah Abdullah has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the animation, film, and arts industries. Fatimah is currently the Head of Studio at BWA Studios, an animation studio that focuses on creating programming for various platforms while consciously hiring individuals from underrepresented groups. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at the Atlanta Film Society, where they supported artists and advocated for diverse voices in film and media arts.

Fatimah also worked as a Series Producer at 9 Story Media Group, where they contributed to the production of series. Before that, they were an Executive Producer at Primal Screen, a design studio known for its work in kids' entertainment branding and curriculum-based content. Fatimah'sresponsibilities included managing projects in the film, broadcast, online, education, and gaming industries.

In their earlier career, Fatimah worked as an Executive Producer at TRICK 3D, specializing in 3D animation and virtual reality. Fatimah also served as the Secretary to the President at the ASIFA-South, promoting animation through various activities. As an Artist in Residence at The Creatives Project, they had the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents. Additionally, Fatimah worked as a Project Manager at BARK BARK and was a Founding Board Member at Dashboard, an organization empowering and promoting artists.

Fatimah'searly work experience includes a role as a Studio Manager at Thomas Arvid Fine Art. Overall, Fatimah Abdullah has a strong background in the animation and creative industries, with a focus on promoting diversity and empowering artists.

Fatimah Abdullah attended Kennesaw State University from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued a field of study in Studio Art. Afterward, they enrolled at Georgia State University College of Arts & Sciences from 2004 to 2007. During their tenure there, they focused on Film & Video, specializing in Theory, Production, and Animation.
