Melissa Cowie Woods

Melissa Cowie Woods, CHRL, is an accomplished human resources professional with a wealth of experience in HR management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Human Resources & Talent at BWXT Canada since December 2023, Melissa previously held the position of Senior Human Resources Manager for North America at Hartmann North America, where a focus was placed on developing HR programs across manufacturing sites in Ontario and Missouri. Melissa's career includes significant roles at Hammond Power Solutions, Gerdau Long Steel North America, and Bend All Automotive Inc., demonstrating a progressive trajectory in HR expertise. Melissa is also pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Relations at Queen's University, building on previous educational achievements that include certificates in Labour Relations and Industrial Relations, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
