Angela Major Hart, J.D., CFP® has extensive work experience in the financial and legal sectors. Angela is currently the Executive Vice President - Head of Wealth Management & Trust at Byline Bank since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Northern Trust Corporation, where they held the position of Senior Vice President & Wealth Strategist from 2018 to July 2021.

Angela also has a strong background at First Midwest Bank, where they served as Senior Vice President and Manager, Wealth Management from 2013 to 2018. In this role, they established and grew a division of 12+ direct reports, overseeing various aspects such as sales development, fiduciary administration, and investment and legal skills development.

Before joining First Midwest Bank, Angela held the positions of Vice President and Senior Fiduciary Officer, as well as Vice President and Wealth Management Officer at the same institution. In these roles, they administered various trust, estate, guardianship, and investment management accounts while also providing fiduciary and financial solutions to clients.

Earlier in their career, Angela worked as an Associate at Levun, Goodman & Cohen LLP, where they focused on estate planning and administration, drafting trust documents, and representing clients in probate proceedings. Angela also gained experience as an Associate at O'ROURKE, HOGAN, FOWLER & DWYER, advising clients on commercial real estate transactions, financing, and land use development.

Angela began their career as an Associate at MAHONEY SILVERMAN & CROSS LLC, where they provided legal counsel in estate planning and administration, drafting various types of trusts and wills.

Angela Major Hart, J.D., CFP®, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Eckerd College in 1997. Angela further pursued their education at the University of Iowa College of Law, where they earned their Doctor of Law (JD) degree with Distinction in 2003. In addition to their academic achievements, Angela Major Hart has obtained various certifications. In 2004, they were awarded the Juris Doctor (JD) certification by the MCLE Board of the Supreme Court of Illinois. More recently, in 2018, they became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) (CFP®) as recognized by the CFP Board.
