Trisha McCauley

Trisha McCauley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in communications and journalism. In their most recent position as the Director of Communications at Byron Center Public Schools, they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at WWMT-TV as an Anchor/Reporter from 2019 to 2022, where they researched stories, interviewed subjects, and presented daily content. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Multi-Media Journalist at KIMA TV, providing live coverage of news and producing stories for newscasts. Trisha also gained experience as a Reporter at Loyola News Chicago in 2017, where they produced and anchored newscasts focusing on localizing news in Chicago. Additionally, they served as the News Editor at Loyola Phoenix Newspaper from 2015 to 2017, managing the news section and investigating on-campus sexual assault reports. Trisha also took on the role of Executive Producer at Rambler Sports Locker from 2015 to 2017, producing and directing a student-run sports broadcast show. Furthermore, they interned at CSN Chicago in 2016, reporting on high school and professional sports. Trisha's experience also includes an internship at WTTW/Chicago PBS in 2015, working on assignments related to Chicago politics. Trisha began their professional journey as a Student Office Assistant at Loyola University Chicago in 2015, providing support to residents and performing general office tasks.

Trisha McCauley obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism from Loyola University Chicago, where they attended from 2013 to 2017.
