Ole Obermann

Ole Obermann currently serves as the Global Head of Music Business Development and IP Rights at ByteDance since October 2019. Previously, Ole held the position of Chief Digital Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Warner Music Group from November 2016 to October 2019, where responsibility included the global business development strategy. Prior experience includes roles at Sony Music Entertainment, such as Executive Vice President of Digital Partner Development & Sales and Senior Vice President of International Digital Business Development, where strategies for digital partnerships were cultivated. Ole's career began at Bertelsmann/RCA Records as a Marketing Manager, followed by a series of progressively responsible positions in various organizations. Ole holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in International Relations from Colgate University.
