John Runciman

John Runciman is a Research Engineer specializing in drilling and completions at C-FER Technologies since May 2017, where expertise includes full-scale testing of completion technologies and the development of well integrity software applications. Runciman has contributed to several courses, presentations, and co-authored two SPE conference papers on the assessment of downhole casing deformations using Multi-finger Caliper tools. Prior roles at C-FER Technologies include Engineering Co-op Student positions, along with experience as an Engineering Technician at Almor Testing Services Ltd., focusing on quality control tests for construction materials. Runciman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Alberta.
