Eric Czarnik is an experienced journalist and creative director with a background in editorial writing and visual arts. Since August 2007, Eric has worked as a staff writer and layout designer for C & G Newspapers, where Eric produces engaging content for both print and online audiences and founded a weekly automotive column from 2013 to 2018. In addition, since 2018, Eric has served as the creative director for Aksanyah Studios, utilizing Adobe design tools to create characters and art for an original comic book franchise, while also marketing these works at local conventions. Prior experience includes roles as a staff writer and city editor for The Mirror, covering local issues and reporting on various community topics, as well as an internship with The Oakland Press during the 2004 election season. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Wayne State University, which was obtained between 2001 and 2005, and completed a college preparatory program at Lamphere High School from 1997 to 2001.
