Donna Heinz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Donna began their career serving in the United States Air Force as a Contracting Officer and eventually retired as a Lt Colonel, after 20 years of service. In this role, they wrote, negotiated, and administered contracts of various values and also trained Contract Officer Representatives on contract policies and procedures.
Following their military career, Donna worked for SAIC as the Director of Procurement, where they supervised a team of subcontract administrators and managed a large number of subcontracts. Donna also mentored and motivated their staff during organizational changes.
Donna then joined the United States Department of the Air Force as the Director of Contracting and Director of Business Operations. In this role, they focused on developing teams and individuals by offering personal and professional development courses, resulting in a significant reduction in attrition rates.
Donna later worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for CNM Ingenuity, where they educated government and private sector clients on leadership, management, and business topics. Donna developed curriculum and delivered training programs to exceed client expectations.
Donna also held the position of Director of Contracts at Cybermedia Technologies, Inc. (CTEC), where they oversaw contract operations, built a contract team, and served customers such as the U.S. Air Force and the Department of Homeland Security.
Most recently, Donna has joined The Mitchell Group as a District Leader. Their role involves providing financial education to families and helping them protect, grow, and manage their finances.

Donna Heinz obtained a Masters degree in Contract Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology in 1993. Donna also holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University. In addition to their educational background, Donna has obtained several certifications including a Life Insurance License from the Insurance Commissioner State of Kansas, a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from iPEC Coaching, and a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). Donna also holds certifications in various coaching and career development specialties from iPEC Coaching, the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches, PeopleKeys, Inc., and the John Maxwell Team.
