Christine Stanley

Christine Stanley, FACMG, has a long and varied history of work experience. Christine began their career in 1993 as an Instructor for Protutors. Christine then moved on to Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998, where they served as a Graduate Student Association and Instructor. In 1999, they became a Coordinator and Instructor for Questers. In 2007, they joined Athena Diagnostics as a Laboratory Director. In 2013, they became the Chief Laboratory Director, Clinical Genomics for Courtagen Life Sciences, Inc. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Clinical Laboratory at WuXi NextCODE and Medical Director of QnA Diagnostics. In 2018, they joined C2i Genomics as the Clinical Laboratory Director, C2i Genomics. Most recently, in 2019, they assumed the role of Chief Director, Clinical Genomics for Variantyx.

Christine Stanley, FACMG obtained their BS in Genetics from Texas A&M University in 1992. Christine then went on to pursue a PhD in Human Genetics from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University from 1996 to 2001. Following this, they completed a Post Doc in the Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellowship Program at Boston University School of Medicine from 2001 to 2004. In 2015, they obtained a Diplomate from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a Certificate of Qualification in Molecular Genetic Testing from the New York State Department of Health.
