Filippo Pizzocchero

Filippo Pizzocchero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Filippo is currently the Head of Portfolio at C2X since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at A.P. Moller - Maersk as the Director of Business Development Lead for Strategic Decarbonisation Projects from August 2021 to December 2022, and as a Tech Transformation Partner from August 2021 to July 2022. Before that, Filippo worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Project Leader from October 2020 to July 2021, a Consultant from May 2018 to October 2020, and an Associate Consultant from May 2016 to April 2018, focusing on energy, decarbonization, digitization, and digital transformation. Filippo also held the position of Lead of Digitalisation at Ørsted from November 2019 to August 2020. Filippo's early career included roles at the Technical University of Denmark as a Postdoc and PhD Student in the field of nanocarbon research, as well as a Research Assistant. Filippo also had a stint as a Visiting PhD Student at Columbia University in the City of New York. Additionally, Filippo co-founded Import/IT I/S and served as a Co-founder from October 2010 to January 2013. Filippo also worked as a Buddy Coordinator at Polyteknisk Forening (PF) from February 2011 to September 2011.

Filippo Pizzocchero completed their high school education at Liceo Scientifico Nicoloso da Recco from 1999 to 2004, earning a High School Diploma in Scientific studies. Filippo then pursued a BSc in Physics Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2004 to 2007. Simultaneously, they completed a course in "Membrane Technology" at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Leuven, Belgium in 2006. Filippo continued their education by earning three MSc degrees: one in Physics and Nanotechnology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, from 2008 to 2010, another in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Politecnico di Milano, from 2007 to 2010, and one in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, from 2007 to 2010.
