John Sowell

John Sowell has extensive experience in various roles and industries. John is currently working as the Director of Operations at C3 Industries since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Manager at Green Thumb Industries (GTI) from February 2020 to January 2023, where they successfully introduced multiple product categories to the market and oversaw all aspects of facility operations.

Before their role at GTI, John served as a Consultant at Brecham Group from November 2019 to February 2020, focusing on improving processes and organizational structure. John also worked as a Plant Manager at Extractech, Hemp Extraction/Processing Facility from August 2019 to November 2019, where they developed and implemented systems for plant operations.

John's earlier experience includes working as a Quality Manager and Chemical Engineer at Medline Industries, Inc. from April 2011 to August 2019. In these roles, they contributed to product development, managed quality and production processes, and engaged with regulatory authorities regarding compliance.

Additionally, John worked as a Staff Scientist at Greenwood Genetic Center from 2008 to 2011, conducting proteomic and metabolomic studies. John also has experience as a Senior Scientist at Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. from 2005 to 2008.

John Sowell has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Emory University. John also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Analytical Chemistry from Georgia State University.
