Nelson Novaes Neto

Nelson Novaes Neto is currently the Chief Technology Officer and a Partner at C6 Bank, a rapidly expanding digital bank. Nelson played a leading role in the creation of C6 Bank and ensures compliance with IT and security standards. Additionally, they are a Research Affiliate at MIT Sloan School of Management since 2019. Previously, Nelson was a Senior Manager (CISO) at Itaú Unibanco from 2014 to 2018. Nelson also served as a Latin American Advisory Board Member at ISC2 from 2011 to 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at UOL DIVEO, including Head of Managed Security Services Unit and Chief Security Officer. Nelson also has experience as a System and Network Administrator for Zip.Net/Zipmail - Portugal Telecom from 1998 to 2001.
