Scott Baxter

Scott Baxter is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in systematic strategies and macro trading. Currently serving as the Managing Director of the Systematic Strategies Group at CPP Investments since January 2019, Scott has a strong background in developed markets fixed income. Prior roles include Director at TD, where establishment and management of the US Interest Rate Options Trading Group were key achievements, and Director at Citi, where focus was on interest rate derivatives trading. Scott's career began with roles at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank, where significant contributions were made to trading and risk management in areas such as mortgage-backed securities and interest rate derivatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
