Prashant Rai

Prashant Rai has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Prashant began their career at NPCIL as a Scientific Officer-C from September 2005 to July 2007. Prashant then moved on to HSBC as an Analyst from July 2009 to April 2011. Following that, they worked at Bank of America as an Assistant Manager from May 2011 to July 2012. Prashant then joined Wize Commerce as a Lead Statistician from July 2012 to June 2015. In 2015, they started working at CaaStle, where they held multiple positions including Manager - Data Science Insights from August 2015 to February 2018, Senior Manager - Data Science Insights from February 2018 to March 2019, Director - Data Science Insights from March 2019 to December 2021, and currently as the Senior Director - Data Science Insights from January 2022 onwards. In addition to their corporate roles, they also served as a Visiting Professor at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from December 2019 to January 2022.

Prashant Rai earned a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in 2005. Prashant then pursued an M.Tech. in Operations Research at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, which they completed in 2009. Additionally, they hold a certification in SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling from SAS.
