Chris Schmitt

Chris Schmitt has worked in the biotechnology industry since 2012. In that time, they have held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Rochester, followed by a Research Associate II role at Shire Pharmaceuticals. In 2015, they joined ImmunoGen, Inc. as a Development Engineer II, and was promoted to Development Engineer III in the same year. From 2019 to 2021, Chris worked at CRISPR Therapeutics as a Process Engineer IV, Associate CMC Project Manager, and CMC Project Manager. Most recently, they joined Orchard Therapeutics as a Senior CMC Project Manager in 2021, and is currently an Associate Director of Research Project Management at Cabaletta Bio.

Chris Schmitt obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same institution.
