Barbara Slingerland

Barbara Slingerland is the Director of Exceptional Children at CABARRUS COUNTY SCHOOLS. Barbara has held this position since January 2000. Prior to that, they were a Special Ed. Program Specialist at Rowan-Salisbury Schools from January 2000 to December 2008.

Dr. Barbara Slingerland is a Walden University graduate with a Doctor of Education in Administrative Leadership for Teaching and Learning.

Barbara Slingerland reports to John Kopicki, Superintendent. Barbara Slingerland works with Brian Schultz - Deputy Superintendent, John LeGrand - Assistant Superintendent, Auxiliary Services, and Jim Gilreath - District Driver Education Director.
