Aleix Bayona

Aleix Bayona is a Postdoctoral Researcher at CABIMER, focusing on the Genome Instability and Cancer research group since June 2016. Prior to this role, Aleix served as a PhD student at IRB Barcelona / IBMB-CSIC from September 2010 to June 2016, also holding the position of MSc student during that period. Aleix began an academic career as a Scholarship Student at Universitat de Barcelona in early 2010, contributing to research in the Human Molecular Genetics group. Aleix holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology with a specialization in Genetics from Universitat de Barcelona, obtained in 2016, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Developmental Biology and Genetics completed in 2011. The academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from the same institution, earned in 2010.
