Matthew Gann

Matthew Gann is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and firmware development, particularly in embedded systems and FPGA design. Currently, Gann serves as a Lead Software Engineer at CableLabs since September 2022. Previous roles include Senior Engineer and Technical Lead at Paragon Research Corporation, where significant projects included leadership on a Software Defined Radio project and development of custom embedded Linux systems. With a background that includes roles at Universal Lighting Technologies, Scientific Research Corporation, Synapse Wireless, Brockwell Technologies, Schneider Electric, and ADTRAN, Gann has consistently contributed to high-impact projects, demonstrating expertise in designing software and hardware solutions across various technologies. Gann holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
