Christian Burgess

Christian Burgess is the Chief Financial Officer of Cabot Credit Management since January 2020. In this role, Mr. Burgess oversees all of Encore’s European businesses. He joined Cabot Credit Management in April 2019 as Finance Director for all the Non-UK Cabot businesses. Previously, Mr. Burgess was the Chief Financial Officer of Grove Capital Management and prior to that spent fourteen years at Deutsche Bank where he was a Managing Director in several senior finance and business management roles within the Markets and Investment Banking divisions. Mr. Burgess began his career with the Commonwealth Bank where he worked in Sydney in various finance roles within the Insurance & Retail Banking businesses.

Mr. Burgess is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants – Australia and New Zealand) and holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration (Economics) from the University of New England, Australia.
