Wil Leung

Director Of Culinary Operations at Cactus Club Cafe

Starting in 2001, Wil Leung worked as a Service Manager at The Keg Steakhouse and Bar until 2003. In 2003, they joined Wild Rice as a Line Cook, staying there until 2004. Starting in 2004, they joined Cactus Club Cafe as a Head Chef, later becoming a Senior Chef, Regional Chef of Eastern Operations, and finally the Director of Culinary Operations, a position they still hold.

Wil Leung obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Guelph between 1995 and 2000. Wil then pursued Culinary Arts/Chef Training at Vancouver Community College (VCC), earning a Canadian Red Seal from 2010 to 2012. In 2019, Wil completed a Leadership Certificate in Hospitality from the University of Guelph and eCornell.
