James Thompson

James Thompson has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. James currently serves as the SVP | National Operations Manager at Cadence Bank since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at BancorpSouth for nearly 20 years, holding various roles including FVP | National Operations Manager from November 2018 to August 2021, and VP | Mortgage Systems Manager from January 2002 to November 2018.

James Thompson attended the University of Mississippi from 2003 to 2005, where they received a Bachelor of Administration degree. James'sfield of study was Banking and Finance, with a minor in MIS (Management Information Systems).
