Khara Williams

Khara Williams has a diverse work experience in the banking sector. Khara currently serves as the National Head of Strategic Partnerships and Lending at Defence Bank, where they are responsible for implementing strategies for sustainable growth and engaging with government officials and key stakeholders. Khara also holds the position of Non-Executive Director at Veteran Support Force. Prior to their current roles, Khara worked at Westpac, where they held various positions including Director of Premier Banking and Regional General Manager. In these roles, they had responsibilities such as managing balance sheets, leading project management processes, and overseeing different banking channels.

Khara Williams has a diverse education history. In 2011, they attended Kaplan Australia and obtained a diploma in Finance and Financial Management Services. In 2012, they enrolled at Impact UK and completed a program in Impact Coaching and Development. Khara continued to expand their knowledge in 2019 by attending Harvard Business School, where they received a certificate in Cognitive Fitness. In 2020, they pursued a Certificate of Executive Leadership from AGSM @ UNSW Business School. Currently, Khara is enrolled in the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and in 2021, they completed a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Law at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
