Russell Griffin

Russell Griffin has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Russell is currently working as the Market President at Cadence Bank since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BancorpSouth from 2017 to 2022, where they held the positions of Market President and First Vice President. Russell also worked at Hancock Bank as an Assistant Vice President from 2015 to 2017. In addition, Russell served as the Managing Partner at Gem of Champions from 2011 to 2017. Before that, they had a tenure at BancorpSouth as a Vice President and Assistant Vice President from 2007 to 2013. Russell started their career at MDOT as a Staff Real Estate Appraiser from 2004 to 2006.

Russell Griffin's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Jones College for a period of two years, where they focused on Liberal Arts. Following this, Russell enrolled in Delta State University from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Real Estate and Insurance. After completing their undergraduate studies, Russell went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from William Carey University, specializing in Masters of Business Administration from 2012 to 2017. Currently, Russell is pursuing further education in the field of Banking at the Graduate School of Banking at LSU, starting in 2022.
